ParentHelper, our new iPhone Application
I don't normally mix my online social "stuff" with my business however I'm going to change this as I'm so pleased with our new application.
If you have an iPhone, iPad, IPod Touch or any eyes can you please take a look at ParentHelper our new iPhone application now available on the App Store!
Some background:
"ParentHelper was conceived after the 3 of us watched a stunning documentary (originally aired on British TV on February 2010 called Kids Don’t Count) about children in today’s British schools who seem to lack the basic skills of basic maths.
At the start of the programme the children were given a test to complete. The results were sad for everyone concerned, as it appeared the children had not been taught correctly how to do simple arithmetic.
Teachers also volunteered (anonymously) to do the test. This was even more astonishing as only 1 teacher out of group of 10 was able to answer correctly all the questions.
A cut down quiz was posted onto the television channel’s website for viewers to take the test. You had 15mins to answer 12 questions. We all noted from the flurry of results on various social media channels from parent friends that they too had faired badly.
ParentHelper app was thus conceived."
If you do download and try our new application can you please, please, please provide us some feedback via this form? Feedback from you our customer is the only way we are going to able to improve our application. Tell us what your first thoughts are when you read about the app or use it. Tell us what you like and what you don't like. What else would you like to see next, more maths, english, science etc...
In the meantime we will continue working on new features, check our blog for a preview of these. I'm currently porting ParentHelper to the iPad, this will be a universal binary which means you pay for the app once and you can use it on the iPod/iPhone and iPad versions!
